    MEET THE COACHES

    Steve Gronick - Owner

    My name is Steve Gronick, I am a Body Transformation and Pain Relief Expert. For over 14 years I have been helping people achieve the better version of themselves, physically and mentally, that they have always desired.

    By achieving my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, 3 international health and fitness certifications, and all 3 Neurokinetic Therapy certifications, I have been able to do just that. I have been able to successfully help, inspire, motivate, and educate hundreds of people towards attaining the body and life they always envisioned themselves having.

    My goal has always been to help as many people as possible realize their potential. After being in the 1 on 1 personal training business for 8 years, I realized that a well-structured bootcamp would allow me to help more people effectively with my time. So, I opened Kelowna Bootcamp in 2015. 

    At Kelowna Bootcamp, we use high energy and motivation combined with specific exercises to burn the fat and tone every muscle in your body. 

    Kelowna Bootcamp allows me to help so many more people discover their potential than I could anywhere else. I hope to be able to help you too!

    Cheyenne Schoenherr

    I grew up very active participating in tons of sports from track & field, gymnastics to cycling & yoga and many more. My favourite classes in high school were PE (physical education), outdoor education and all the sciences, so it was almost inevitable that when I graduated secondary school I went on to graduate with a degree in kinesiology at UBC Okanagan. I was delighted to learn the science behind human movements as well as the psychology behind getting active setting SMART goals and proper nutrition to optimize results.

    I have always had a passion for fitness and an active lifestyle and can't wait to continue sharing my view and enthusiasm to help others reach their fitness goals. I always try to challenge myself and seek out new creative and fun ways to push myself. I also enjoy the continues process of educating myself on new research to further my knowledge about physical activity, it's numerous benefits and best ways to stay functionally fit for daily life. I am so proud and in wander of what the human body can achieve and finding it's limits are one of my greatest pleasures.

    I believe that HIIT is one of the most effective and time efficient ways to train and see rapid results. These workouts are dynamic, quick, and best of all FUN. I am so proud and excited to be teaching here at Kelowna Bootcamp and hope to help YOU reach your goals.


    Makena Moore

    Meet Makena! She is a recently graduated B.Sc. Kinesiology student and a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer.

    She is passionate about exercise and physical activity as a form of holistic treatment, while also an opportunity to improve mental and emotional health.

    Apart from teaching bootcamps here, she loves to strength train, play competitive tennis, and soak in the (usually) hot weather of the Okanagan 🌞
